Heavy Wall Board Stability Platform

JWYC 508

DURABILITY. HIGH STABILITY.

Built on reinforced heavy wall board castings with a lower balanced U-shaped beating shaft, the JWYC 508 holds a steady beat-up strike through multi-shift production. Engineered for medium-weight synthetic fabrics that need higher pick density and consistent cloth quality.

TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE

Built for Multi-Shift Medium-Weight Production

The JWYC 508 is the stability workhorse of the Fynite range, serving mills that weave peach skin, microfiber suiting, satin, crepe and medium-weight twill where uniform pick spacing matters as much as speed.

Its heavy wall board frame and lower balanced U-shaped beating shaft keep the reed’s centre of mass low, so beat-up force stays even from selvedge to selvedge. The result is steady fell-line control at up to 180 picks per inch, with fewer stop-marks across long triple-shift runs.

Reinforced Wall Board CastingMEEHANITE HT250

Thickened wall boards are poured in our Surat foundry with Meehanite HT250 grey cast iron, stress-relieved by annealing, and CNC-machined so bearing seats stay true under heavier beat-up loads.
